treat of the week: a blog you need to read and a bracelet you need to win

Thursday, July 28, 2011 | | 0 comments
This week's Treat of the Week is a double dose, a two-fer, a treat and a bonus ... get excited! The first part of the Treat is a FAB blog that you need to add to your daily reads from our friend Jill of The Good Life for Less. She's super cute, uber stylish, and every day she posts inspirational outfit photos that will make you think twice before grabbing that same old sweatshirt/t-shirt/fill in the blank. And, every Friday she publishes the "it" list, showcasing the best of the web. You might remember that we've been on the "it" list several times (click here to see them).

So, on to part two of our double dose. Jill is celebrating her Birthday and, in honor of that, she's giving away a FAB Kate Spade bracelet (go here to enter to win it). All you have to do is visit her blog and leave a comment. Seriously. A super fab daily read that will bring you a ton of joy, and the potential to win a fab bracelet to add some joy to your wardrobe ... yes, please!

And now, so you know a little bit more, here are 5 Things We Love About Jill!

Happy Birthday Jill!

And to everyone else, Happy Weekend!

treat of the week: the really cute dessert that doesn't involve your oven

Friday, July 22, 2011 | | 0 comments

Hi Friends! Did you miss us?

Sorry for the absence lately but, well ... it's summer, and it's hot, and we've been busy, and then there was vacation, and, did we mention that it's hot? So in honor of the fact that if you live in Texas (or anywhere else in the USA right now) it's HOT, we're showing off something you're going to LOVE - a super cute dessert that doesn't involve the oven! 'Cause not having to sweat is the best treat you can give yourself!

If you're like us, you're always going a million and one places during the summer. There's this party, and that party, and dinner with these folks, and all of the glorious things that make summer so much fun. So, what do you do when it's 105 degrees outside (we're talking real temperature here folks) and you're supposed to bring dessert? Make a Really Cute Dessert Spread - they'll LOVE it - and you won't have to turn on your oven! Check out the super cute spread that one of us made at Easter. Here's how it works:

Step 1: Get a super cute tray. If you're like us and you love to shop Target's clearance row, you probably already have one. If you don't, head over to Target, or your favorite neighborhood store and get one. Plastic. Colorful (this one is Hot Pink). Less than $5.
Step 2: Get some store bought goodies. Cookies. Cakes. Candy.
Step 3: Put your store bought goodies on your super cute tray. Don't be stingy. Fill it to the brim!
Step 4 (optional): Add some super cute napkins.
Step 5: Take to your party and be prepared for people to fawn over your super cute dessert tray - that you didn't sweat over - 'cause you didn't even have to use your oven!

So, our treat to you, a super cute dessert idea that can be as expensive as you want it to be. 'Cause in the summer, there's no better treat than not having to sweat!

Stay cool!

Cuteness Alert: Super cute cards for a corporate client

Tuesday, June 21, 2011 | | 0 comments
Just popping in to show off some super cute cards we did for a corporate client a few weeks ago. They wanted to have some super cute cards as party favors for a concert they were having and we were more than happy to help.

They provided the super cute image, we added the text, printed the cards, and then bundled them in sets of 5 for them to give out as favors. They turned out pretty cute, if we do say so ourselves.

As for the tie-dye ribbons ... well ... the concert was in San Francisco and the collateral for the event (t-shirts, mugs, wrist bands) were all tie-dye. We were thrilled with the way things turned out - and the clients were too!

You're probably thinking to yourself, "I didn't know they would make sets of 5 cards", I want some. Well, while we won't make you one set of 5 cards - come on, you'll need more than that - we are happy to work with you for your event. So, the next time you have a corporate event, or need to give all of the teachers at school something (think back to school week or teacher appreciation) send us an email - we're happy to help!

treat of the week: magical grocery store flowers

Friday, June 10, 2011 | | 0 comments
It's summer (at least in Texas), the end of a long week (most likely) and if you're anything like us, your house needs a little ... spring in it's step! May we recommend a treat that came to home from the store this week? Grocery Store Flowers! That's right. These little beauties ($4.99 with reward card) started out like nothing special. Pretty flowers in a plastic sleeve - nothing fancy - just ... fine. But, they came, home, the vases/holders/fun containers came out of the drawer, and the $4.99 flowers turned into something magic! 4 containers of roses to be spread around the house - and to add a little magic to every room.

So, this weekend, when you're at the store, stocking up on milk, and eggs, and other non-fun but totally necessary items, treat yourself to some flowers - then take them home, break them apart, and turn them into your own bit of magic!

Happy Weekend!

The Really Cute Wedding Box: Give the Gift They'll Remember

It's that time of year again ... wedding season! This year, instead of giving a plate, or a cookie sheet, or a couple of towels, why not give the happy couple a gift they'll actually remember?! (That's right - no one remembers that you gave them the 4th plate in the stack - it's just the truth - ask my mother, she told me so!)

We're happy to introduce the Really Cute Wedding Box, the gift they'll remember. You get 5 sets of personalized cards for the newlyweds boxed up and ready to be wrapped for $50.00 (the ugly mixing bowl on the registry cost more than that). You pick the color combination and we do the rest - giving you a variety of styles (2 sets will be flat with colored envelopes and 3 sets will be foldover cards with white envelopes). And, to be sure the newlyweds have the perfect cards for any occasion, we'll use a variety of fonts (from serious to playful). Check out the super cute wedding box we did for Hannah and JJ - newlyweds from Dallas.

Want a custom color combination or need to rush the order? Send us an email and we'll be happy to work with you (additional fees may apply).

Ready to place your order? Simply use the form below (scroll down), we'll get to work and will let you know when your box has shipped. When it arrives, add a note, wrap it up, and be ready to hear the bride gush over your gift - the one she'll actually remember.
